Summer is pretty much here, in our part of the world anyway and we couldn’t be happier!

There’s nothing quite like the bright rays and steamy temps to lift our spirits and make us feel truly alive as our blood flows around our body.

This boosted blood flow is also great for skin and you may notice a healthy glow when the season shifts into sultry temps.

Of course, as life is always balanced, bad comes with the good and vice versa, but it’s really how you look at it at the end of the day!

Too much sun can leave your skin dry and peeling, and your hair brittle. You may also deal with increased breakouts from sweating and be unsure of what products to actually use on your skin right now.

However, this is an easy fix if you follow our summer beauty tips!

Of course our number one tip of all is to use a good, high quality mineral SPF, so be sure you stock up and apply generously from head to toe before stepping out into the sun.

Don’t over-cleanse 

We know it may be tempting to wash your face more frequently right now, especially as you may be sweating throughout the day, but trust us when we say that over-cleansing is not your friend.

The minute you start cleansing more than twice a day, you put your skin at risk of being stripped of your natural oils and once your skin barrier is impaired you may deal with a heap of issues, breakouts and dry dull skin being top ones.

We recommend sticking to just twice a day, using a gentle yet effective cleanser like our Aloe Vera Facial Cleanser.

A cool rinse fixes everything

Cool water is your best friend all year long and especially in the steamy season!
